For over twenty five years Carolyn Gross has been serving others with her expertise in self care and health care. She is the author of three books and has been seen on ABC, NBC, and Lifetime TV. When she wrote her first wellness book titled Staying Calm in the Midst of Chaos before the events of September 11th, she began an 18 month book tour. The tour ended when she found a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer.
In 2003 when she stared down her diagnosis of infiltrating ductal carcinoma cancer, she chose to keep her breast and without any surgery won the battle using Immunotherapy, Chemo & Radiation.
So delighted with new life experience, she turned her cancer healing into a new career and published two books on Immunotherapy: Treatable and Beatable Healing Cancer without Surgery and her co authored book with Geronimo Rubio MD, Breaking the Cancer Code.
Since stress is the primary onset of many degenerative conditions including cancer, her role as Patient Advocate at Rubio Cancer Center has been enriching to work with others to avoid overwhelm from a diagnosis and realize indeed cancer can be a wake-up call to greater health.
She is both a professional speaker and patient advocate and hopes to inspire people to make informed decisions about their health and the power of mindset - Psychoneuroimmunology. You can find more about Carolyn on www.carolyngross.com or www.treatableandbeatable.com
